Every man that attends the Smoky Mountain Men’s gathering will receive a free Spiritual Fathers: Restoring the Reproductive Church book which will give us a better understanding of what a “transformed man” looks like. A transformed man can be described as a Spiritual Father.
WHAT IS A SPIRITUAL FATHER?
A man who is walking closely with God, who is helping to produce another man who is walking increasingly closer to God.
ELEMENTS IN THE PROCESS FOR TRANSFORMING MEN
- Trusting culture/environment where men feal free to ask questions, express opinions
- Understanding fatherhood first from the perspective as God the Father of Jesus to their father and the vacuum in that relationship
- Servant leadership as exemplified in process leaders
- Desire to pursue an intimate relationship with God
